One Love was founded to honor Yeardley Love, a lacrosse player at the University of Virginia who was killed by her ex-boyfriend. After her death, the family started the One Love Foundation to educate young people about the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.
Today, One Love is working to shift the norms and statistics around relationship abuse one conversation at a time. Through compelling film-based workshops and peer-to-peer discussions, One Love offers a framework that opens people’s eyes to the signs of abuse and teaches them to love better. Empowered to pass this information on, young people spread our message to their communities in-person and online. To join the movement to love better, please visit joinonelove.org
